My Vision
I am PASSIONATE about K9 Nosework
I began Nosework with my own dog, Tavish, in 2024 after he experienced some significant medical issues as a young dog. I needed something low energy to keep his active brain occupied. Since then we have completed many workshops, seminars and classes, learning along the way about how Nosework can enhance the dog-human bond.
My vision as an instructor is to guide connection between dog and human. Nosework allows the dog to lead. It encourages the human to observe, understand, and honor the dog. We wonder at our dogs' skills. This rebalancing of the relationship leads to a deeper human-dog bond.
Nosework is an activity that is perfect for Every Body: it is dog and human beginner friendly, and suitable for bodies with a variety of limitations. Because each dog-human team works on their own, it is suitable for shy, reactive, and fearful dogs. It builds confidence and resilience.
