For your first class:
Flat collar and/or harness for your dog
Leash - minimum 6 ft. We do not recommend use of flexi leashes. Longer lines can be useful (8-12 ft) but not essential
Treats - bring lots of "high" value treats for your dog
A folding chair/camp chair
A portable crate, or a way to keep your dog safe in the car
Ways to keep your dog "entertained" while not with you - stuffed kongs, chew items etc.
As you advance to deeper learning, we recommend you consider the following:
- A dedicated nosework harness or collar, to tell your dog it's time to sniff
- a longer line (10-12 ft)
- a treat pouch
As you get further along in your training, the following might be useful:
- A way to record your own training (class, on your own)
- Ways to keep your dog cool in your vehicle, including aluminet shade cloth, cooling mats, fans
- a solid crate for your vehicle
